1. Introductions:
The meeting was called to order by Chair Ann Bax at 1:34 p.m.
2. Approval of Agenda
Mr. William Case moved to accept the agenda; Mr. Royal Spiedel seconded the motion. The motion
carried without correction or objection.
3. Approval of Minutes
Mr. William Case moved to accept the May 23rd, 2017 minutes; Mr. Wayne Lee seconded the motion.
The motion carried without corrections or objection.

S. Transit Administration Report
a. Transit System -Wide Assessment
Mark Mehmert, Transit Director yielded the Floor directly to Ms. Katrina Williams, MPO Planner
with Planning and Protective Services (CAMPO)
i. Existing Conditions Report -Katrina Williams, CAMPO
UNAPPROVED 12017
Ms. Williams presented an over -view of the system wide assessment status to the committee with a
PowerPoint presentation.
Funding (from the Surface Transportation Program [STP])was available for consultant services, one
choice and decision was a system wide assessment for transit division. Report is available on the
CAMPO website, and hard copies are available upon request. Final Report with recommendation of
changes still developing and are due soon.
A public meeting is scheduled for October 17th, 2017, from 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. in the
Boone/Bancroft Conference Room, City Hall. Final report is due from consultants on October 31St,
2017.
b. DoubleMap implementation update -Mark Mehmert, Transit Director.
Mr. Mark Mehmert provided a PowerPoint presentation with an overview/status update of the
purchase and future installation of DoubleMap.
c. Update(s) on the Discover JEFFTRAN/RIDE FREE DAY were presented. The Ride Free Day
is scheduled for October 9th, 2017. This is the third annual ride free day. JEFFTRAN
Administration has been in contact with News Tribune and an ad is scheduled to run in the
local newspaper prior to event. Facebook posts have been published and flyers have been
placed in the transit facility, bus shelters, buses, and distributed to partner agencies.
