CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL OF MEMBERS: The meeting was called to order by the Mayor at 6:00 p.m. Present were Councilmembers Franklin H. Caplan, Allison McCormick (arrived at 6:04 p.m.), Brett G. Moss, Vice Mayor Edward London and Mayor Michael W. Davey. Councilmembers Luis Lauredo and Ignacio Segurola were absent. Also present were Interim Village Manager Charles R. Press, Village Clerk Jocelyn B. Koch and Village Attorneys Chad Friedman and Haydee Sera. 2. DISCUSSION: The Mayor welcomed the Council and the public to the workshop. Councilmember Moss and Building, Zoning and Planning Planner Olga Garcia addressed the Council giving a slide show presentation on proposed Zoning Code amendments. There was extensive discussion from Council with single family home regulations regarding lot coverage, floor area ratio (F.A.R.) bonuses, building wall heights, understory, grading and drainage. Village Attorney Haydee Sera addressed the Council regarding restrictive covenants and landscaping. Village Attorney Chad Friedman addressed the Council regarding base flood elevations. Chief Resilience and Sustainability Officer Dr. Roland Samimy addressed the Council regarding possibly higher base flood elevations. There was extensive discussion from Council regarding base flood elevations. April 29, 2021 3. SCHEDULE OF FUTURE MEETINGS/EVENTS: A schedule of future meetings and events was presented to the Council. 4.
