A tlications a. King's Landing- presented by Paul Ruchinskas • Sub committee met on September 19, 2012 • Agreement has been made with DEP • Letter of commitment to be drawn up with 7 conditions to be attached • Letter to be reviewed by Town Counsel • Affordable in perpetuity • Structured as a loan • Previously was a 40 year contract, new will be another 40 years • Approved by the Housing Subcommittee as discussed above Further questions by CPC • What does Rehab include? Window replacements, redo bathrooms and some electrical • How many handicapped units? Nothing meets current code. They will create 6 units. All units will have smoke detectors. • Heating was upgraded/replaces a couple of years ago MOTION by Paul Ruchinskas, to approve the application from Kings Landing/POAH, as presented, for $400,000.00 Second by Rollie Bassett Jr. VOTE 7-0-0 3. Oi ussion regarding Spruce H111/Brewster Historical Museum letter • Is the estimate reasonable? • Should we have more than one estimate? • We will review the procedures the town requires for written estimates, bids etc. • Estimate "not to exceed cap price" 4. CPC Discussion with Fin Corn • Both Items were approved; POAH and Mill Dam • Longer discussion regarding land purchase article • Elliott will talk to Fin Coin Chair regarding their understanding of what CPC does. 5 B11 j Paying procedures • Will be discussed with Don Arthur CPC Minutes 09-26-12 10/9/2012 3:05 PM Page 1 of 2 • All Liaisons will check bills, SIGN THE BILL, send to Don who will sign and present to Town Accountant. 3.
