THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, JULY 17, 2014
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met at 5:00 P.M., Thursday, July
17, 2014, in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Building, 50 North 5th Street, Richmond, Indiana.
President Robinson called the meeting to order and the following business was conducted:
ROLL CALL
Present were: Vicki Robinson, Tony Foster and Dick Foore.
Also in attendance were Kim Vessels, Assistant City Attorney; Karen Chasteen, City Clerk; Sue
Roberson, Human Resources; and, Media.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Mr. Foster moved to approve the minutes for the meeting with a second by Mr. Foore. Upon a vote viva
voce, the motion carried.
CLAIMS FOR PAYMENT
Mr. Foore moved to approve the Claims for Payment in the amount of One Hundred Ninety Nine
Thousand One Hundred Seventy Dollars and Fifty Seven Cents ($199,170.57), supported by Mr. Foster.
Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried.
REQUESTS
• RIVER RATS — FIREWORKS
July 26, 2014 — after Game
Peacock Road — between NW 13th and NW 11th Streets
Mr. Foore moved to approve, supported by Mr. Foster. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried.

Benefit Program Development and Consultation Advisory Services (Healthcare Management)
Not to exceed $15,000.00 for the period July 1 — December 31, 2014
Not to exceed $30,000.00 /year thereafter
Mr. Foster moved to approve, supported by Mr. Foore. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried.

• Kenyatta Cox, Assistant City Attorney for Richmond Power and Light, tendered her resignation

Mr. Foster moved to approve, supported by Mr. Foore. Upon a vote viva voce, the motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT
After a motion was duly made, the meeting was adjourned.
