Gross, Michael E. Kelly and Mayor Mayra P. Lindsay. Councilmembers Franklin H. Caplan, Theodore Holloway and Vice Mayor Edward London were absent. Also present were Village Manager John C. Gilbert and Village Clerk Conchita H. Alvarez. The Manager welcomed the Council and the public to the V/orkshop. The following residents addressed the Council: Cecile Sanchez, 260 Cypress Drive; James Duncan, 415 Ridgewood Road; Steve Simon, 355 Harbor Lane; Laura Yillareal, 472 Hampton Lane; Tom Thornton,475 Hampton Lane; Mary Jo Pinedo, 365 Atlantic Road; Sergio Guardazz|5l2 Femwood Road; Matias Cavalier, 400 Hampton Lane and Alan Fein, 525 Allendale Road. Some of the residents proposed the following: Naming the park Corner Park or Heather Corner Park; open space with vegetation; include activities for different age groups; no parking; no organized sports; no big structures; showcase of palms on swales to avoid parking; shade; play mounds; seating; bike racks; in-house landscaping, grading and sodding; trash receptacles.
