SECOND BUDGET HEARING
KEY BISCAYNE, FLORIDA
MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 21, 2015
COUNCIL CHAMBER

1. CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL OF MEMBERS: The meeting was called to order by
the Mayor at 7:00 p.m. Present were Councilmembers Luis de la Cruz, Theodore Holloway, James
S. Taintor, Vice Mayor Franklin H. Caplan and Mayor Mayra Lindsay. Councilmembers Michael
E. Kelly and Edward London were absent. Also present were Village Manager John C. Gilbert,
Village Clerk Conchita H. Alvarez and Village Attorney Stephen J. Helfman.
2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: Mayor Lindsay led the Pledge of Allegiance.
The Attorney addressed the Council explaining that due to an inadvertently mistake in the Budget
Ad this meeting needed to be recessed and continued, so that the Second Budget Hearing could be
re -advertised.
Vice Mayor Caplan made a motion to recess and continue the Second Budget Hearing to Monday,
September 28, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber. The motion was seconded by
Councilmember Holloway and approved by a 5-0 voice vote. The vote was as follows:
Councilmembers de la Cruz, Holloway, Taintor, Vice Mayor Caplan and Mayor Lindsay voting Yes.
3. ADJOURNMENT: The meeting was adjourned at 7:12 p.m.
