A RESOLL~T3ON OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE C'. ~:'i'Y Ot' LYNWOOD
APPROVING THE CERTIFIED LIST OF UTILITY USER'S TAX
EXEMPTIONS FOR PERIOD JANUARY 1, 1995 THROUGH DECEMBER
31, 1995.
WHEREAS, the Lynwood City Council adopted Ordinance
No.1352 and Resolution No. 90-191 imposing and implementing a
schedule for Utility User's Tax on certain utility usage; and
WHEREAS, the City Council in adopting Ordinance No. 1352
determined that imposition of the Utility User's Tax may cause
undue hardship on certain individuals who therefore, will be exempt
from payment of the utility user's taxes under guidelines
established in Resolution 90-191; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has reviewed and
verified the status of all applicants as to compliance with
requirements of Resolution 90-191;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, order, and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the Certified Utility User's Tax
Exemption List has been reviewed and certification is approved.
Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon it's adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 19th da of March
