A RESOLUTION NAMING THE OFFICIAL PUBLICATIONS FOR THE CITY OF RIVERDALE, IOWA
WHEREAS, the City of Riverdale, Iowa ("City") is a Municipal Corporation, organized and
operating under the laws of the State of Iowa;
WHEREAS, all cities in Iowa must designate official publication companies for all official
notices of the City; and,
WHEREAS, the Quad -City Times requested that it be designated as the Official
Publication of the City of Riverdale for 2021 pursuant to Iowa Code 618.3; and,
WHEREAS, the North Scott Press also publishes a weekly paper that is circulated in the
community.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERDALE, IOWA,
The City Council hereby approves the Quad City Times and the North Scott Press as the
official publications of the City for the Year 2021 in conformance with Chapter 618 of
the Iowa Code. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to publish information for the City of
Riverdale, Iowa as required by law in the Quad City Times or the North Scott Press.
Passed, approved and adopted this 8th day of December 2020.
