a?iJNDS APPROPRIATIONS AND TRANSFERS TO FINANCE
THE STUDY
WHEFcEAS, the pavement, curbs and gutters on State
Street betweer~G~Jeber Avenue and Josephine Street has subsided;
and
WHEREAS, cont.in,aed subsidence of existing roadway may
damage Ci.t,yse~~aer and water lines and other underground
utili_~ ies; :~_~.ci
vviI~Ii=:;Rli;~tS, a geotechnicai study over this area is
necessa-r~y -~::<.~ ~..;~~~erm_i.ne t~.e cause of ,subsidence; and
in+i7E'R:E'AS; said s+~udy has been estimated to cost $8, 000;
and
WHEREAS, the City's FY 1995-96 Budget does not provide
funds for -this study;
NO1rI, '?'HEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood

geotec.h~i.c<~.i ~,~~~;~~sur.face study on State Street between Weber
