A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD APPROVING THE AGNES STREET
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT BETWEEN SCHOOL STREET
AND BULLIS ROAD; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO MAKE THE NECESSARY
FUNDS TRANSFERS AND APPROPRIATION
~, WHEREAS, City Council desires to include Agnes Street
between School Street and Bullis Road in the City's Speed Humps
Pilot Program; and
WHEREAS, the pavement of said street has deteriorated
and is in need for repairs; and
WHEREAS, the street pavement needs to be repaired to
ensure proper installation of speed humps; and
WHEREAS, the cost for the pavement repairs and
installation of speed humps is estimated at $80,000; and
WHEREAS, Community Development Block Grant fund is
available for street improvement projects for FY 1996-97; and
WHEREAS, Agnes Street between School Street and Bullis
Road is eligible for the use of this fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council approves the Agnes
Street Improvement Project, between School Street and Bullis
Road.
Section 2. That the City Manager or his designee is
authorized to make the following funds appropriations and
transfers
