VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD
SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
NOVEMBER 27, 2023
AT: VILLAGE HALL
BOARD PRESENT: J. ARGOUDELIS, B.WOJOWSKI, M.BONUCHI, . P.KALKANIS,
R.KIEFER, C.LARSON, AND T.RUANE. OTHERS PRESENT: J.BLAKEMORE,
ADMINISTRATOR; R.VOGEL, ATTORNEY; M.GIBAS, VILLAGE CLERK; S.THREEWITT,
PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR; J.PROULX, PLANNING DIRECTOR; J.MELROSE, ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR; L.SPIRES, BUILDING OFFICIAL; T.PLECKHAM,
MANAGEMENT SERVICES DIRECTOR; AND R.MILLER, CHIEF OF POLICE.
CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL, PLEDGE
Mayor Argoudelis called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Roll call was taken, all Trustees were
present. There were approximately 30 persons in the audience.
PUBLIC COMMENTS (3-5 minutes)
No comments.
BUSINESS MEETING
1) APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Trustee Kalkanis moved to approve the Agenda. Second by Trustee Larson. Vote by roll call.
Wojowski, yes; Bonuchi, yes; Kalkanis, yes; Kiefer, yes; Larson, yes; Ruane, yes. 6 yes, 0 no. Motion
carried.
2) DONATION OF PROPERTY
Trustee Wojowski moved to approve Resolution No. 1835, authorizing the acceptance of a donation
of property (Lots 1, 2, 3 in O.J. Corbin's Subdivision), 15307 S. Route 59, Plainfield, Illinois. Second
by Trustee Larson.
Trustee Bonuchi commented that Michael Lambert had previously created a plan for this property and
hoped that he still has it.
Trustee Kiefer stated that this property would be perfect for open space.
Mayor Argoudelis thanked the owner for the donation.
Vote by roll call. Wojowski, yes; Bonuchi, yes; Kalkanis,yes; Kiefer,yes; Larson,yes; Ruane, yes.
6 yes, 0 no. Motion carried.
Trustee Larson moved to adjourn. Second by Trustee Kiefer. Voice Vote. All in favor, 0 opposed.
Motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 7:05 p.m.
