RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING TEAMSTERS LOCAL 97 AS
BARGAINING REPRESENTATIVE
WHEREAS, the Police Dispatcher employed by the Borough of Carteret, (the
"Borough") are party to a collective bargaining agreement with the Borough;
and
WHEREAS, the dispatchers have indicated a desire to change their bargaining
representative; and
WHEREAS, the dispatchers have chosen Teamsters Local 97 to serve as their
representative; and
WHEREAS, the Borough agrees to recognize the representative selected by the
dispatchers, and have posted notice and received no objection from employees.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret the Teamsters Local 97 is hereby voluntarily recognized as
the bargaining representative of the Borough's Police Dispatchers.
Adopted this 2nd day of March, 2000
