A Special Meeting was held by the Mayor and Council of the SPECIAL MEETING
Borough of Carteret on Monday, April 22, 2002, 7:20 P.M.,
Community Center, 100 Cooke Avenue, Carteret, New Jersey. April 22, 2002
Upon individual roll call vote, the following were noted present: PRESI~XlI7

Councilmember Frank Parisi
" Daniel Reiman
Ronald Rios
Buddy Sohayda
Noted Absent were Councilmembers Janet Santoro and Brian
Sosnowski.
Also noted present were Borough Attorney Robert Bergen, First
Aid Members, Ray Zetty, Emie Evon, Lisa Resko, Mary Evon and
Dave Wilson. Chief Pieczyski from the Police Department,
Battalion Chief, Brian O'Connor and Captain Magella from the
Fire Department.
Mailed to The Home News Tribune, The Star Ledger and posted STATEMENT OF
on the Bulletin Board on April 19, 2002. MEETING NOTICE

Mayor Failace then said he wanted to go into Closed Session on
this discussion.
Upon MMS&C by Councilmembers Reiman and Rios RESOLUTION ~q32-198
RESOLUTION #02-198 Resolution to go
"RESOLUTON TO GO INTO CLOSED SESSION" into Closed Session
was Adopted. Upon individual roll call vote Councilmembers Adopted
Parisi, Reiman, Rios and Sohayda voted in the Affirmative.
Councilmembers Santoro and Sosnowski were noted Absent.
At approximately 7:21 P.M., this meeting was Closed to the MEETING CLOSED
Public.
APRIL 22, 2002
MEETING CLOSED Upon MMS&C by Councilmembers Rios and Sohayda and
unanimous affirmative vote of the four (4) Councilmembers
present this meeting was Opened to the Public at approximately
9:15 P.M.
ADJOURNED After no further discussion, upon MMS&C by Councilmembers
Reiman and Rios and unanimous affirmative vote of the four (4)
Councilmembers present this meeting was Adjourned at
approximately 9:16 P.M.
