RESOLUTION NO. 96-126
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AMENDING .THE LYNWOOD FEE SCHEDULE
WITH REGARD TO BUSINESS LICENSE TAXES FOR
PERSONS ENGAGED IN THE BUSINESS OF ERECTING
OR MAINTAINING ADVERTISING STRUCTURES FOR
OFF-PREMISES ADVERTISING PURPOSES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Account No. 1-30104, entitled "Business
Licenses," as set forth in the City of Lynwood Fee Schedule, is
amended by amending paragraph A of Section 1 thereof to read as
follows:
"A) ADVERTISING STRUCTURES FOR OFF-PREMISES
ADVERTISING DISPLAYS
FLAT TAX (PER YEAR) $ 100.00
FEE PER SIGN FACE $ 25.00
Section 2. The business license taxes set forth in
this Resolution are applicable to calendar year 1996 and to
succeeding years. The Director of Finance is authorized and
directed to make appropriate refunds to all businesses that have
paid business license taxes in 1996 that exceed the amounts
established by this Resolution.
