The LifeCentre Emergency and Specialty Veterinary Clinic
Celebrates Opening of New Cancer Treatment and
Rehabilitation Facility in Leesburg
Leesburg, VA (October 10, 2013) – On
Tuesday, October 15, 2013, Town of
Leesburg officials will hold a ribbon cutting
ceremony to celebrate the opening of “TLC
West,” a new veterinary cancer treatment
and rehabilitation facility. Mayor Kristen
Umstattd will officiate the ribbon cutting at
4:00pm. The new facility is located at 134
Fort Evans Road NE.
The new building is an expansion of The
LifeCentre Emergency and Specialty
Veterinary Practice located just up the road at 165 Fort Evans Road NE. The two practices
housed in the new building – The Oncology Service and Veterinary Surgical Center Rehab –
were formerly located in The Life Centre’s main facility.
The LifeCentre was opened in 2007, and provides specialized veterinary care including
cardiology, neurology, ophthalmology, and dentistry as well as emergency and critical care. The
high demand for the practice’s services quickly led to the need to expand the facility. They
broke ground on the new building in November 2012 and the new facility opened in August this
year. For more information, please visit www.tlcvets.com.
