RESOLUTION REGARDING SURFACE TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM FUNDING FOR
DRAUDEN ROAD RESURFACING (RENWICK ROAD TO IL ROUTE 126)
WHEREAS, the Village of Plainfield is a member of the Will County Governmental League
Transportation Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Will County Governmental League requires a "local match" resolution of all project
sponsors according to its Surface Transportation Program (STP) implementation Policy; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Plainfield's Drauden Road Resurfacing STP project will be considered by
the Will County Governmental League; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Plainfield is capable, willing, and able to fund the required local match
(20% of the total Phase III Engineering and Construction costs) during the programmed year.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT AND BY THE
BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD, WILL AND KENDALL COUNTY,
ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
That the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Plainfield, Will and Kendall County, Illinois
do hereby authorize the expenditure of funds from the Village of Plainfield's local funds for the Drauden Road
Resurfacing (Renwick Road to IL Route 126) project, to be funded through the Will County
Governmental League Surface Transportation Program.
PRESENTED and passed by the Board of Trustees on a roll call vote on the 18th day of
December, 2023 with 5 Trustees voting aye, 0 Trustees voting nay, 0 Trustees abstaining, and with 1 Trustee
absent.
AYES: Kalkanis, Kiefer, Larson, Ruane, Bonuchi
NAYS: None
ABSTENTIONS: None
ABSENT: Wojowski
