A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROVING THE PROPERTY APPRAISER
CONSULTANT SELECTION FOR THE LONG BEACH BOULEVARD.
WIDENING PROJECT, PHASE IIC, AND AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, a Request for Proposal for property appraisals
was advertised in the Los Angeles Times and Lynwood Press and
sent out to consultants; and
WHEREAS, ten proposals were received from consultants by
the due date; and
WHEREAS, proposals were evaluated using various criteria
to rank the consultants; and
WHEREAS, Michael Popwell Associates, Inc. possesses the
best combination of experience and qualifications for this
project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council approves the selection
of Michael Popwell_ Associates, Inc, to provide the property
appraisal services for the Long Beach Boulevard Widening
Project, Phase IIC.
Section 2. That the Mayor is authorized to execute a
consultant agreement with Michael Popwell Associates, Inc. in the
amount of $12,000.
Section 3. ,This resolution shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption.
