A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE RELOCATOIN OF THE
WATER LINE LOCATED AT BULLIS ROAD AND LOUISE
STREET AND AUTHORIZE: STAFF TO COMPLETE THE
WORK THROUGH AN INFC)RMAL BID PROCESS

WHEREAS, the Los Angeles County Sanitation District is
scheduled to replace portions of their trunk sewers along
Bullis Road; and
WHEREAS, a City water main line is in conflict with the
proposed trunk sewer and therE:fore needs to be relocated; and
WHEREAS, the LA County Sanitation District will
reimburse the City 1000 for tree work; and
WHEREAS, the work needs to proceed expeditiously so as
not to delay the City's Bullis Road Improvement Project; and
WHEREAS, the -relocation of the water main line can be
done more economically and expeditiously using an informal bid
process; and
WHEREAS, under Section 6-3.13 of the Lynwood Municipal
Code, Council can authorize the proposed contruction through
informal bids by a 4/5 vote.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Lynwood does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That staff is authorized to proceed with
the work for the relocation of: the water main line at Bullis Road
and Louise Street through an informal bid procedure.
Section 2 That this resolution shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 20th day of
Auqust , 19 9 6 .
