A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE RELOCATOIN OF THE
WATER LINE LOCATED AT BULLIS ROAD AND LOUISE
STREET AND AUTHORIZE; STAFF TO COMPLETE THE
WORK THROUGH AN INFC)RMAL BID PROCESS

WHEREAS, the Los Angeles County Sanitation District is
scheduled to replace portions of their trunk sewers along
Bullis Road; and
WHEREAS, a City water main line is in conflict with the
proposed trunk sewer and therE:fore needs to be relocated; and
WHEREAS, the LA County Sanitation District will
reimburse the City 1000 for tree work; and
WHEREAS, the work needs to proceed expeditiously so as
not to delay the City's Bullis Road Improvement Project; and
WHEREAS, the relocation of the water main line can be
done more economically and e:~peditiously using an informal bid
process; and
WHEREAS, under Section 6-3.13 of the Lynwood Municipal
Code, Council can authorize the proposed contruction through
informal bids by a 4/5 vote.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
~j Lynwood does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
` Section 1. That staff is authorized to proceed with
the work for the relocation of the water main line at Bullis Road
and Louise Street through an informal bid procedure.
Section 2 That this resolution shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 20th day of
