Minutes
October 22, 2020 7:00 PM Greencastle City Hall and Zoom
I. Call to Order; Roll Call
Mayor William Dory called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM; upon roll by Clerk-Treasurer Lynda
Dunbar the following were present: Mark Hammer, Stacie Langdon, Veronica Pejril, Cody
Eckert, Dave Murray and Jake Widner. Adam Cohen was absent
II. Old Business
A. Ordinance 2020-10 (Second Reading) - An Ordinance Repealing Ordinance 2020-10
Instituting a Moratorium on Water Shut-Offs and Late Payment Fines Due to the
Threat of COVID-19 Virus- Motion by Mark Hammer to approve Ordinance 2020-10 on
second reading as presented, second by Stacie Langdon, 6-0, motion carried.
Ill. New Business
A. Ordinance 2020-12- (First Reading) An Ordinance Amending Ordinance
2019-6, An Ordinance Establishing the Size of the Departments of the City
Government of the City of Greencastle, Indiana, Fixing Salaries for the
Employees of Such Departments and Fixing the Salaries of Certain Other
Appointed Officials for the Year 2020 - Motion by Jake Widner to approve Ordinance
2020-12 on first reading as presented, second by Veronica Pejril, 6-0, motion carried.
Joint meeting with Redevelopment Commission to discuss the revised Economic Development
Plan at 7:30 PM.
Redevelopment Members present by ZOOM: Gwen Morris, Lottie Barcus, Gary Lemon, and
Brian Cox. Erica Gilmore attended in person.
Mayor Dory present the revised Economic Development Plan to the common council.
No formal action was taken at this time.
IV. Adjournment
The meeting was adjourned at 7:52 PM upon a motion by Dave Murray with a second by Cody
Eckert, 7-0, motion carried.
