HomeMy Public PortalAbout09-19-01 Zoning Meeting.tifMINUTES ZONING MEETING VILLAGE OF KEY BISCAYNE, FLORIDA WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 19, 2001 COUNCIL CHAMBER 85 WEST MCINTYRE STREET, SECOND FLOOR 1 CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL OF MEMBERS The meeting was called to order by the Mayor at 6 50 p m Present were Councilmembers Scott Bass, Alan H Fein, Robert Oldakowski, James L Peters, Vice Mayor Mortimer Fned and Mayor Joe I Rasco Councilmember Martha F Broucek was absent Also present were Village Manager C Samuel Kissinger, Village Clerk Conchita H Alvarez and Village Attorney Richard Jay Weiss 2 PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Mayor Rasco led the Pledge of Allegiance 3 BUILDING, ZONING AND PLANNING All witnesses giving testimony in the public heanngs were sworn in by the Village Clerk Hearing Number SP 00-01(A) Reverend Jose Luis Hernando, 100 Harbor Dnve, Saint Agnes Catholic Church, the applicant is requesting an amendment to an approved site plan removing a condition that required a parking lot to utilize pavers and instead use asphalt Director of Building, Zoning and Planning, Jud Kurlancheek, addressed the Council recommending approval of the request subject to staff approving a revised landscape plan showmg a dense hedge between the sidewalk and parking lot and along the western edge of the lot I oft September 19 2001 The Mayor opened the public hearing There were no speakers present The Mayor closed the public heanng Vice Mayor Fned made a motion to approve the request according to staff's recommendation The motion was seconded by Councilmember Bass and approved by a 6-0 roll call vote The vote was as follows Councilmembers Bass, Fein, Oldakowski Peters, Vice Mayor Fned and Mayor Rasco voting Yes 4 ADJOURNMENT The meeting was adjourned at 6 54 p m tfully subm ed onchita H Alvarez, CMC Village Clerk Approved fhis.9..th._ day of October , 2001 Joe I Rasco Mayor LORI IF A PERSON DECIDES TO APPEAL ANY DECISION MADE BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL WITH RESPECT TO ANY MATTER CONSIDERED AT A MEETING OR HEARING, THAT PERSON WILL NEED A RECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS AND, FOR SUCH PURPOSE, MAY NEED TO ENSURE THAT A VERBATIM RECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS IS MADE, WHICH RECORD INCLUDES THE TESTIMONY AND EVIDENCE UPON WHICH THE APPEAL IS TO BE BASED 2 of 2
