Larry Ballantine, Chris Millen. Fran McClennen. Guest: Charlie Sumner (for one discussion item) Minutes from January 10. 2012 were approved on a unanimous vote. Coordinators Report: 1. Pier Bylaw Amendment-It was reported that the Planning Board voted to put the proposed bylaw amendment on the Chatham town Meeting warrant and to support it. Jane noted that it would he important for the Alliance to attend meetings to articulate the Alliance's position, rather than rely on the letter. Many inaccurate statements were made. and there was not challenge. The Selectmen will vote on the warrant article at some point. tt was agreed that Carole would draft a letter to the Planning Board clarifying the misinformation and asking them to reconsider their position. It was also agreed that a letter would need to be prepared to present to the Board of Selectmen on this m i lei. 2. McClcnnen Property - Charlie Sumner joined the meeting for this discussion, lie noted that there was support for municipal purchase on the Brewster Board of Selectmen. He asked if Carole could attend the Brewster CAC meeting where the matter would be discussed. It was agreed that Carole would attend that meeting= and also the meeting or the llarwich Real Estate and Open Space Committee, and voted that a letter of support for the purchase would be sent to both committees and the Boards of Selectmen. (Fran tMcClennen offered to leave the room for this discussion and did not participate in this discussion and abstained .from the vote on the letter). 3. The Coastal Resource Guide is completed. Once it is printed and online C'aolc ll announce its availability to Selectmen at Public Comment 4. Carole presented the municipal fertilizer policy and stated that the watershed work group had completed its review of this and was submitting it to the Steering Committee. The Steering Committee voted to forward the policy and cover memo to the Boards of Selectmen. The vote was unanimous. 5. Muddy Creek- Carole reported on a presentation she made to Harwich Selectmen. She also held a Meeting to review funding strategy with Harwich and Chatham orilei tls. There will be a public presentation of the final Fuss& Ob'Neill report on l'llurstlav March S`h at 7 pm at Chatham Communit Center. A media advisory will co out nest week. 6. Carole has met with Chatham and Harwich Boards of Selectmen regarding the proposed RMP amendment. She is scheduled to make a presentation to Brewster Board of Selectmen at the end of the month. 7. !ti v,as noted that the RIP for Coordinator's three-year contract expires at end of June. Cable was asked to coordinate with Bob Duneanson on the mechanics of re-issuing the RE-P. Submitted by: Date: V L /
