Resolution RA-2007-02INTHEREDEVELOPMENTAGENCYOFTHECITYOFLIVERMORESTATEOFCALIFORNIAARESOLUTIONAUTHORIZINGENTERINGINTOACOOPERATIONAGREEMENTWITHTHECITYOFLIVERMORETOLOANTHEAGENCYFUNDSFORTHEPURCHASEOFTHESOUTHERNPACIFICRAILWAYDEPOTANDAUTHORIZINGTHEEXECUTIVEDIRECTORTOSIGNDOCUMENTSTheSouthernPacificRailwayDepotDepotisdesignatedasahistoricresourceintheLivermoreDowntownSpecificPlanHistoricResourcesInventoryTheoverallsitesurroundingtheDepothasbeenseverelydegradedfromitshistoricconfigurationfunctionandappearancesuchthatnooriginalcontextuallyrelevantorhistoricalsitefeaturesremainandtheHistoricPreservationCommissionhasprovidedpolicydirectionthattheDepotcanberelocatedRelocationoftheDepotisnecessarytofacilitatetheredevelopmentofanonconformingandunderutilizedneighborhoodshoppingcenterTheDepotwillberelocatedtoasiteinoraroundthedowntownandpreservedasanimportanthistoricresourcefortheCityNOWTHEREFOREBEITRESOLVEDthattheRedevelopmentAgencyoftheCityofLivermoreherebyauthorizesenteringintoaCooperationAgreementwiththeCityofLivermoretoloantheAgencyupto825000andappropriatethisamountfromFund580topurchaseandrelocatetheSouthernPacificRailwayDepot2022SouthLStreetandrelatedexpensesassociatedwiththepurchaseoftheDepotBEITFURTHERRESOLVEDthattheExecutiveDirectororherdesigneeisauthorizedtosignallnecessarydocumentsonbehalfoftheCityofLivermoreOnthemotionofAgencymemberDietrichsecondedbyViceChairMarchandtheforegoingResolutionwaspassedandadoptedthis14thdayofMay2007bythefollowingvoteAYESAgencymembersDietrichLeiderReitterViceChairMarchandandChairpersonKamenaNOESNoneABSENTNoneABSTAINNoneATTESTAPPROVEDASTOFORMCITYCLERGENERALCOUNSELRESOLUTIONNORA200702
