Call to Order – 5:30 PM
A. Roll Call
Mayor Pro Tem Mike Ryan called the meeting to order 5:37 PM. Upon roll being called the
following Council Members were present: Jim Bartels, Al Havens, Eric Schnedler, Mike Ryan.
Absent: Upton, Berner (Arrived at 5:38 PM). Others present: City Administrator Doug Boldt,
City Clerk Ashley Platz and other.
B. Agenda Additions/Agenda Approval
Motion to approve the agenda by Bartels.
Second by Schnedler.
All ayes, agenda is approved.
Mayor Berner arrived at 5:38 PM
C. Discussion of Concept, Vision or Possible Future Development(s) in and around the area
of the 100 Block of West Third Street
Doug Boldt spoke to council regarding the land around Slims. John Faselt present at meeting,
owner of lots to the east of Slims. Potential owner/developer Mitch King also present.
Council discussed Tiffin Vision and what Council sees for the block between Grant/Main and
rd
north of W. 3 Street. Council discussed on street parking ideas. King discussed the potential
of future developers conceding five feet of right of way for on street angled parking. And future
potential credit for on street parking for commercial use. Parapet roofs would be ideal for
Councils vision. Council provides King with direction.
