A. Call to Order – 5:30 PM
B. Roll Call
The City Council of the City of Tiffin held a Special Session on July 12, 2018 at Tiffin City Hall Council
Chambers. Mayor Berner called the meeting to order at 5:34 PM. Upon roll being called the following
members were present: Upton, Havens, Bartels, Ryan (By Phone), Schnedler. Others present: City
Administrator Doug Boldt, City Clerk Ashley Platz, City Attorney Crystal Raiber and others.
C. Agenda Additions/Agenda Approval
Motion to approve the agenda by Schnedler
Second by Upton.
All ayes, motion carried.

1. Motion to Adjourn from Regular Session into Closed Session in Accordance with Iowa Code
Chapter 21.5.j for Potential Real Estate Purchase
Motion to Adjourn from Regular Session into Closed Session in Accordance with Iowa Code Chapter
21.5.j for Potential Real Estate Purchase by Havens.
Second by Schnedler.
Roll Call: Upton, Schnedler, Ryan, Bartels. Havens. All ayes, open closed session at 5:35 pm
Motion to adjourn closed session and enter back into Regular Session by Havens.
Second by Bartels.
Roll Call: Upton, Schnedler, Ryan, Bartels, Havens. All ayes, open regular session at 6:53 PM
