Resolution.
Be it resolved by the Town Uouncil of Wellsburg, Iowa
That-- All able bodied male residents, between the age
of Twenty (21) years and Forty five (45) ,years of age,
shall between the 1st day of February and the 1st day
of October of the year 1939, pay the sum of Three Dollars
($3.00) to the Town Clerk as a Poll tax for the year 1939.
ORDINANCE NUMBER 94
An Ordinance repealing section 7
! of Ordinance No. 81, being an "Ordin-
ance relating to the Fire Department,
and Fire Equipment, and prescrib-
ing Penaltes for Violation," and en-
acting a substitute therefor.
"Be it ordained by the Town council
of the Town of Wellsburg, Iowa:
Section 1. That Section 7 of Ordin-
ance No. 81 of the Town Ordinance
of the Town of Wellsburg, Iowa be
and the same is hereby repealed.
Section 2. That Section 7 of Ordin-
ance No. 81 shall read as follows:
"Every person, firm or Corporation
outside the limits of the Town, and
who is not a member of the Commun-
ity Fire Agreement, shall pay the sirm
of $50.00 in case of a call or they
call the Fire Department, and upon
payment of the above ,urn shall en-
title them to be a member of the
I Community Fire Agreement."
Section 3. All ordinances or part,
' of Ordinance in conflict with this
ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall be
in force and effect from and after its
passage and publiction as provided
by law.
Passed and adopted by the Town
Council this 5th day of January 1939,
and published in the Wellsburg
Herald the llth day of January 1939.
