SITE PLAN IREVIIEW COMMITTEE
June 4,2008-Minutes
A meeting of the Site Plan Review Committee was called to order at 10:00 a.m. in Skaket Meeting Room at
the Orleans Town Hall. Departments Present: George Meservey(Planning);Bob Canning(Health); Bill
Quinn(Fire);Brian Harrison(Building); Jennifer Wood(Conservation). Absent: Todd Bunnick(Water).
Late Arrival: Mark Budnick(Highway).
FORMAT,REVIEW (revised): Arey's Pond Boat Yard, 74 Rayber Road
The applicant,Anthony Davis was present for the revised Formal review for Arey's Pond Boat Yard. The
application was referred back to the Site Plan Review Committee room the Zoning Board of Appeals due to
questions regarding parking setback issues. The parking has been relocated.
MOTION: On a motion by Brian Harrison, seconded by Bob-Banning;the Committee voted to approve
the revised Formal Site Plan for Tony and Robin Davis on behalf of Arey's Pond Boat Yard,prepared by
Clark Engineering, LLC, Scale, 1"=20',revision dated May 27,2008.
VOTE: 6-6-0 The motion passed unanimously. (Mark Budnick was not present).
DISCUSSION: Industrial District
Bob Canning stated that he has reviewed and documented various issues in the Industrial District after
complaints were received by the Board of Health. The Town Administrator has requested that the Site Plan
Review Committee discuss the issues and determine the best way for the Town to proceed to resolve
outstanding issues. The Site Plan Review Committee agreed that a walk-through may be useful and asked
Meservey to pull the Site Plan Files in the district.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: May 7,2008
MOTION: On a motion by Bob Canning, seconded by Jenny Wood,the Committee voted to approve the
minutes of May 7,2008.
VOTE: 5-0-2 The motion passed by a majority. (Bill Quinn and Todd Budnick abstained)
The meeting adjourned at 10:32 a.m.
