A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MCCALL, IDAHO,
RELATING TO SEWER UTILITY RATES
WHEREAS, Ordinance 632 provided that City sewer rates be set by resolution; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 2-98 set the interim sewer rates; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to make permanent the rates set by Resolution 2-98.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the City McCall that:
Section 1: The rates set by Resolution 2-98 for certain aspects of the sewer service
shall be made permanent as set forth below:
Sewer Connection Charges:
1. Trunk and treatment charge:
Per residential unit as defined in Title 3, MCC: $2,500
Commercial, Industrial, Institutional: To be fixed and determined by the City
Engineer with appeal to Council on the basis of equivalent single family
residential units, and the determination of such equivalence shall include the
volume, type and content of liquid effluent and/or industrial wastewater
discharged into the sewer system.
2. Connection charge:
Per residential dwelling unit as defined in Title 3, MCC: $ 150
Commercial, Industrial, Institutional: To be fixed and determined by the City
Engineer with appeal to Council on a basis of equivalent single family
residential unit, and the determination of such equivalence shall include the
volume, type and content of liquid effluent and/or industrial wastewater
discharged into the sewer system.
Section 2: The above rates shall be in effect from May 15, 1998, and continue until
further action by the City Council.

As directed by you and the City Council in the June 11, 1998 meeting, enclosed is a
resolution making pernianent the interim sewer connection charges. Since Resolution 2-98
already struck out sections of the previous resolution, you need not redo those sections.
Therefore, we were able to draft the resolution in a more straightforward manner. Unless you
have any changes, you have the authority to execute the resolution at your earliest
convenience.
