ORDINANCE NO. lj5' 3O° ;
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH
THE MISSOURI HIGHWAYS AND TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION FOR
SURFACE TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM FUNDS.
WHEREAS, on January 5, 2016 the Commission and the City previously entered into a
STP-Small Urban Funds Agreement as to surface transportation planning activities
(hereinafter, "Original Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, on October 19, 2016 the Commission and the City previously entered into
a Surface Transportation Program Grant Supplemental Agreement (hereinafter, "1st
Supplemental Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, on November 2, 2017 the Commission and the City previously entered into
a second Surface Transportation Program Grant Supplemental Agreement (hereinafter,
"2nd Supplemental Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, the Commission and the City now desire to revise the Original Agreement
and First and Second Supplemental Agreement as provided in this Third Supplemental
Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to
execute a supplemental agreement with the Missouri Highways and Transportation
Commission for Metropolitan Transportation Planning Services.
Section 2. The agreement shall be substantially the same in form and content as
that agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval.

STP-URBAN PROGRAM
THIRD SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT
THIS SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT is entered into by the Missouri Highways
and Transportation Commission (hereinafter, "Commission") and the City of Jefferson
(hereinafter, "City").
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, on January 5, 2016 the Commission and the City previously entered
into a STP-Small Urban Funds Agreement as to surface transportation planning
activities (hereinafter, "Original Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, on October 19, 2016 the Commission and the City previously entered into a
Surface Transportation Program Grant Supplemental Agreement (hereinafter, "1St
Supplemental Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, on November 2, 2017 the Commission and the City previously entered into
a second Surface Transportation Program Grant Supplemental Agreement (hereinafter,
"2"d Supplemental Agreement"); and
WHEREAS, the Commission and the City now desire to revise the Original
Agreement and 1st and 2nd Supplemental Agreement as provided in this 3`d
Supplemental Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants, promises and
representations contained herein, the parties agree as follows:
(1) REVISION: Paragraph 8 of the Original Agreement is hereby removed
and replaced with the following:
(8) PROJECT TIME PERIOD: Work under this Agreement shall begin
February 23, 2016 and extend to May 31, 2019. No work shall be performed
•
under this Agreement until a notice to proceed is received from the Commission.
(2) ORIGINAL AGREEMENT: Except as otherwise modified, amended, or
supplemented by this Supplemental Agreement, the Original Agreement and all
previous Supplemental Agreements between the parties shall remain in full force and
effect and shall extend and apply to this Supplemental Agreement as if fully written in
this Supplemental Agreement.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have entered into this Agreement on the
date last written below.
