COUNCIL “PRE-MEETING” WORK SESSION, JUNE 4, 2018
CALL TO ORDER
In the absence of Mayor Carrie Tergin, President Pro Tempore Ken Hussey called the
June 4, 2018 City Council “Pre-Meeting” to order at 5:47 P.M. to review the agenda.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Fitzwater, Graham, Hensley, Hussey, Kemna, Mihalevich, Prather,
Schreiber, Ward, and Wiseman
Absent: None
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Prayer
Councilman Mihalevich will lead the prayer.
Miscellaneous
Mayor Tergin will present a framed USS Jefferson City Submarine
photograph to Marti Thruston, USS Jefferson City Submarine Committee
member.
Steve Crowell, City Administrator will present the “Distinguished Budget
Presentation Award”.
Presentations from Staff, Consultants, and Staff
Todd Spalding, Director of Parks, Recreation & Forestry, will provide an
update on Community Park. Site renderings have been emailed to City
Council members.
Bills Introduced
Sonny Sanders, Director of Planning and Protective Services will present Bill
2018-017.
Ryan Moehlman, City Counselor will present Bill 2018-018. Councilman
Prather will make a motion to suspend the rules and take up Bill 2018-18 for
third reading.

Bills Pending
Councilman Hensley will make a motion to offer Substitute #1 for Bill 2018-
012 which has been distributed. Sonny Sanders will present the bill.
Matt Morasch, Director of Public Works will present Bills 2018-013, 2018-014,
and 2018-015.
Councilman Graham will make a motion to offer Substitute #1 for Bill 2018-
016 which has been distributed. Matt Schofield, Fire Chief will present the bill.
ADJOURNMENT
The meeting adjourned at 5:52 P.M.
