A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McCALL, IDAHO,
RELATING TO THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
WHEREAS the City of McCall is responsible for the health, safety and welfare of its
Citizens; and
WHEREAS the City of McCall has evaluated the area along State Highway 55 from a
point 300 feet west of First Street to 400 feet south of Park Street, and along the Lenora
Street extension from State Highway 55 to Pine Street, and found evidence of
deteriorated and deteriorating conditions in this area; and
WHEREAS these documented conditions constitute a blight on the public health, safety
and economic development of the McCall Downtown District;
NOW THEREFORE the McCall City Council herewith recognizes and identifies the above
named district as suffering as a deteriorated and deteriorating area defined in I.C. 50-
2018 (I) and I.C. 50-2093 (6) (b); and
FURTHERMORE authorizes Kirk Eimers, Mayor, or Brian Olson, City Manager, to execute
an application for an Idaho Community Development Block Grant to address the
blighted conditions which are a detriment to the economic and physical development
of the City.
