A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROVING A HOUSING REHABILITATION PROGRAM PURSUANT
TO TITLE 24 CFR, PART 92, AND TO COMMIT $714,600 OF HOME INVESTMENT
PARTNERSHIP FUNDS TO CARRY OUT THE NECESSARY PROGRAM ACTIVITIES
WHEREAS, The Redevelopment Agency is interested in starting a new Housing
Rehabilitation Program,pursuant HUD/HOME guidelines at title 24 CFR, Part 92; and
WHEREAS, The new Housing Rehabilitation Program has been designed to etpaiid the
supply of decent, safe, sanitary and affordable housing within the City; and
WHEREAS, $714,600 of The HOME Investment Partnership funds have been identified
as eligible fiuiding sources for the program; and
WHEREAS, In order to proceed ,funds from the Unappropriated HOME funds need to be
appropriated to carry out the financial terms of the Housing Rehabilitation Program
NOW, THEREFORE, The Redevelopment Agency does hereby resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the Redevelopment Agency approve the Housing Rehabilitation Program for the
City of Lynwood.
Section 2. That the Executive Director is authorized to make the following fund appropriation and
transfer
