A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF MCCALL, IDAHO PROCLAIMING A
GENERAL CITY ELECTION TO BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 4, 1997, DESIGNATING THE POLLING
PLACE, DESIGNATING THE REGISTRAR AND DEPUTY REGISTRARS, AND ORDERING THE CITY
CLERK TO GIVE NOTICE OF SUCH ELECTION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MCCALL, IDAHO THAT:
Section 1: The general city election will be held in and for the City of McCall, Idaho on the 4th day of
November 1997, at which time there will be elected three (3) council members to serve for a term of four
years, or until the election and qualification of their successors.
Section 2: The polling place for the McCall Precinct which is the sole precinct for the City of McCall
shall be: Lower Level, McCall City Hall, 216 East Park Street, McCall, Idaho. The polls shall be open for
the purpose of voting from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.
Section 3: The registrars and deputy registrars of this election shall be:
Registrar: James H. Henderson
Deputy Registrars Cherry Woodbury
Linda D. Harris
Cari J. Arthur
Section 4: The Clerk, for and on behalf of the Mayor and Council, shall give public notice of the time
and place of holding such general city election by posting such notice in three public places and publishing
such notice in at least two issues of the Star News, a newspaper printed and published in the City of
McCall, Idaho and the official newspaper thereof. The first publication of the notice so published shall be
not less than 45 days previous to the date of such city election and the last publication not less than 15
days previous to the date of such city election; the notice so published shall state the polling place and the
hours during which the polls shall be open for the purpose of voting. Said notice to contain such
information in accordance with the requirements of Section 50-436 of the Idaho Code.
