HomeMy Public PortalAbout08-26-92 Emergency Council Meeting.tifMINUTES Emergency Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Key Biscayne, Florida Called by Mayor Rafael Conte Wednesday, August 26, 1992 Call to Order 12 15 p m Present Trustees Clifford Brody, Mortimer Fried, Michael Hill, Joseph Rasco, Vice Mayor, Raymond Sullivan, Mayor, Rafael Conte, Village Manager, C Samuel Kissinger, Village Attorney, Richard Weiss, Community Development Director, Robin Sobrino, Acting Clerk, Jack Neustadt, Representatives from the Islander News and the Miami Herald Discussion on clean-up, electric service, 50% today, balance by Friday or Monday to 90% Necessary to boil water, service is operational Manager reported Mark Ellert, VOPS, has given permission to use their property as a burn site Security and dump site by VOPS Several restaurants and stores were reported to be operating, Shell Station open and pumping gas Dr Marchall, number 464-7310, is available for medical needs The Presbyterian Church is available for shelter, food, boiled water according to the Rev Pat Arnold Adjourned at 2 05 p m Any person wishing to appeal any decision made by this Board with respect to any matter considered at this meeting will need a record of the proceeding and for such purposes may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is made
