ORDINANCE NO. 95-6
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF KEY BISCAYNE,
FLORIDA; PROVIDING A PROCEDURE BY WHICH THE
COUNCIL BY RESOLUTION MAY NAME OR RENAME
VILLAGE STREETS; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY,
INCLUSION IN THE CODE AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the Village has jurisdictional responsibility with
respect to all Village roads, streets, and public ways; and
WHEREAS, Council wants to create an orderly and public
procedure for naming or renaming Village streets, roads, and public
ways.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF KEY BISCAYNE, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:1
Section 1. That the Code of the Village is hereby amended
by adding a chapter to be entitled "Naming of Streets, Roads, Or
Public Ways" which shall read as follows:

through text as been deleted from existing language.
Section 2. SEVERABILITY. The provisions of this Ordinance
are declared to be severable
or phrase of this Ordinance
invalid or unconstitutional,
and if any section, sentence, clause
shall for any reason be held to be
such decision shall not affect the
validity of the remaining sections, sentences, clauses, and phrases
of this Ordinance but they shall remain in effect, it being the

legislative intent that this Ordinance shall stand notwithstanding
the invalidity of any part.
Section 3.
EFFECTIVE DATE. This Ordinance shall be
effective upon adoption on second reading.
