COUNCIL “PRE-MEETING” WORK SESSION, JUNE 18, 2018
CALL TO ORDER
In the absence of Mayor Carrie Tergin, President Pro Tempore Ken Hussey called the
June 18, 2018 City Council “Pre-Meeting” to order at 5:46 P.M. to review the agenda.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meetin g convened:
Present: Fitzwater, Graham, Hensley, Hussey, Kemna, Mihalevich, Prather,
Schreiber, and Ward
Absent: Wiseman
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Prayer
- Councilman Hensley will lead the prayer.
Miscellaneous
- Steve Crowell, City Administrator will present Craig Vaughan with the June
Outstanding Employee Service Award.
Public Hearings
- Eric Barron, City Planning Manager will present the five resolutions.
Councilman Mihalevich will ask a question pertaining to RS2018-4.
Appointments by the Mayor
- Mayor Tergin will present the list of suggested appointments for approval.
Mayor Tergin arrived at the pre-meeting at 5:50 p.m.
Bills Introduced
- Mark Mehmert, JEFFTRAN Division Director will present Bill 2018-019.
- J.J. Gates, Assistant Director Parks will present Bill 2018-020.
Bills Pending
- Sonny Sanders, Director of Planning and Protective Services will present Bill
2018-017.

Resolutions
- RS2018-1, RS2018-2, RS2018-3, RS2018-4, RS2018-5 will be taken up
under Item 5, Public Hearings.
- RS2018-6 will be presented by Ryan Moehlman.
Announcements
- Mayor Tergin asked Fire Chief, Matt Schofield to announce the Fire Station
No. 2 Groundbreaking.
- Mayor Tergin will introduce Murphy’s Ford band member, Quinten Rice.
Murphy’s Ford is one of the opening bands for the Concert Inside the Walls
scheduled for June 30th.

The meeting adjourned at 5:53 P.M.
