Town of Leesburg Collecting “Sweats for Vets” Through
December 22, 2013
Sweat suits will be donated to hospitalized veterans at the VA Medical Center in
Martinsburg, West Virginia.
Leesburg, VA (December 10, 2013) – The Town of Leesburg is partnering with the Knights of
Columbus to collect new sweat suits for hospitalized veterans at the VA Medical Center in
Martinsburg, WV. Donations will be accepted through Sunday, December 22, 2013.
Collection boxes have been placed at the following Town facilities:
• Leesburg Town Hall, 25 West Market Street
• Ida Lee Park Recreation Center, 60 Ida Lee Drive NW
• Leesburg Executive Airport, 1001 Sycolin Road SE
Sweat pants and shirts should be new, with a preference for matching sets. All sizes will be
accepted, however, there is a particular need for sizes XL, 2XL and 3XL. Donors are asked to not
wrap the sweats in gift wrap, but to tie each set with a Christmas ribbon and label with the size.
