The meeting was called to order by Mayor Robert Scott. Members present: Raymond
Bosch, Robert Scott, rc.ugene Pulju, Wayne Neddermeyer. The minutes of the last
regular meeting were read. Raymond Bosch made the motion that the minutes be
accepted as read. .ugene Pulju seconded the motion. The motion was carried. The
minutes of the special meeting of July 27, 1965, were read. -,uaene Pulju made the
motion that the minutes be accepted as read. Raymond. Bosch seconded the motion.
The motion was carried. Mayor Scott read the minut :s of the Planning Commission
meeting of July 19, 1965
Wayne Neddermever made the m-tion to grant Dale Johnson varia.nc. with the Building
Code to build a garage on Lot 4, Bloch 4, Medina Morningsi'.e, within 13 feet of the
lot line of I,ot 5, Block h.. Raymond Bosch seconded the motion. The motion was
carried.
A complaint was made in regard to the amplification of music at the Lakeview Resort.
Raymond Bosch will talk to Mr. Guzy in regard to this.
Raj mond Bosch made the motion to authorize the Village Clerk to advertise for snow
removal bias to be opened at the next regular ma -tin=-, and. the road committee to
(?raft a bid form. Pulju seconded the motion. The motion was carried.
Raymond Bosch made the motion to have a special meet in, Wednesday, August 18, 1965,
at 8:00 p.m. for the purpose of planning the budget for the n66 year. Wayne
Neddermeyer seconded the motion. The motion was carr ie(d.
Wayne Neddermeirer made the motion to grant an On and Off Sale Non -Intoxicating
Malt Liquor �':icense to Morris R. McBee at Carlos Cafe. '-ugene Pulju seconded the

The la6l1 Audit Report we,s read. 1;ugezie Pulju made the motion to adopt the Audit
Report as of December 31, 1)64, with the following amendment: Trustee - Arthur
Gertz inst :ad of Raymond Bosch and Clerk - Robert Roehl instead. of Wayne Neddermeyer.
Raymond Bosch seconded the motion. The motion was carried.

Malt Liquor Lice se. It was used for one month. Wayne Nedderme er mad.ethe motion
tb refund $27.5e on the On and Off Sale Non -Intoxicating Malt Liquor License of
Mrs. Earl Balder stein. Eugene Pulju seconded the motion. The motion was carried.
Wayne Neddermeyer made the motion to take up the matter of the Platting Ordinance
at the special meeting on Wednesiay, August 18, 1g65. Raymond Bosch seconded the
motion. The motion was carried..
Clyde Libby asked the Council if they would be agreeable to him building a second
house on his parcel of land. The Council gave verbal approval.
Raymond Bosch made the motion to authorize Mayor Scott to order Aerial Photo Maps
of the Village. ]ugene Pulju seconded the motion. The mot icb was carried..
Eugene Pulju made the motion to pay the bills as approved. Raymond. Bosch seconded
the motion. The motion was carried.
Raymond. Bosch made the motion to authorize the Road Supervisor to tear down the
beach house at Indepen^ence Beach and to repair or tear out the stens to the lake,
whichever is most economical. Wayne ?Teddermeyer seconded the motion. The motion
was carried..

Plan B Wife Insurance Coverage, $lp; amd False Arrest Coverage, $15; for Orlo
isinger, '',1do Meeks, Chuck Hoover and Gerald. Reiser. Wayne Neddermeyer seconded
the motion. The motion was carried.

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Robert Scott. A11 members were present.
Harold. Winterha'_ter made the motion to accept the agreement between the Village
of Medina and the State of Minnesota regarding the Turning Lane Construction to
the Drive -In Theatre (on trunk highway 55). Raymond. Bosch seconded the motion.
The mot ion was carried.
The Village election will be held on tho optional election date, November 2, 1965.
Eugene Pulju made the motion to ordain the following definition to the Platting Code:
The Village Council of the Village of Medina Does Ordain: That the Platting Code,
Section 3, Paragraph 6, Subdivision be amended to read as follows:
Paragraph (6) Subdivision: „Subdivision„ in this chapter means the division of a
parcel of land into two (2) or more lots or parcels for the purpose of transfer of
ownership or building development; provided that a division of land for agricultural
purposes into lots or parcels of five acres or more and not involving a new street
or alley shall not be deemed a subdivision. The term inclines re -subdivision and,
when appropriate to the context, shall relate to the process of subdividing or the
land subdivid^d. Division of any existing lot, parcel or plat shall be considered
within the purview of this chapter.
