CALL TO ORDER The first meeting of the Board of Trustees of the
Village of Key Biscayne was called to order at 7 10 p m , Monday,
September 23, 1991
INVOCATION Monsignor William F McKeever of St Agnes Catholic
Church, and Father Robert Libby of St Christopher by the Sea
Episcopal Church gave the invocations
NATIONAL ANTHEM Key Biscayne Resident Jenne Steele sang the Anthem
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Key Biscayne Resident Jenne Steele led the Pledge
INSTALLATION.
BOARD OF TRUSTEES. Clifford Brody, Mortimer Fried, Michael
Hill, Luis Lauredo, Joe Rasco and Ray Sullivan were
installed by The Honorable Lenard Rivkin, Chief Judge,
11th Judicial District
MAYOR Rafael Conte was installed by the Hono able Linda
Dakis, Metropolitan Dade County Judge
MAYOR'S MESSAGE Upon being duly sworn the Mayor gave a brief address
to the residents and guests in attendance
HISTORY OF KEY BISCAYNE Bill Croisdale a long-time resident of Key
Biscayne gave a brief address on the history of Kejr Broocayne
and the incorporation of the Village
THE SUNSHINE LAW: Dick Gr rgory, from the State s Attorney's Office

gave a brief synopsis on the "Sunshine Law" and haw it of iect�
the actions of the Public Official }He then presented, M;dyor
Conte with a reference book on the Sunshine Law
BOARD OF TRUSTEES' ADDRESS. Each Trustee had the opportunity to give an
address to the residents and guests in attendance

NEW BUSINESS: Because no officialE4genda was announced prior to this
meeting, no new business was discussed

ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE NEXT MEETING. Mayor Conte announced that the next
meeting of the Board of Trustees for the Village of Key
Biscayne will be held at 7.00 p m , Thursday, September 26,
1991 at Key Biscayne Elementary
ADJOURNMENT: The meeting was adjourned at 8 15 p m by Mayor Conte
