CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL OF MEMBERS: The meeting was called to order by the M ayor at 6:00 p.m. Present were Councilmembers Allison McCormick, Brett G. Moss, Ignacio Segurola, Vice Mayor Edward London (arrived at 6:07 p.m.) and Mayor Michael W. Davey. Councilmembers Franklin H. Caplan and Luis Lauredo were absent. Also present were Village Manager Steven C. W illiamson, Village Clerk Jocelyn B. Koch and Village Attorney Chad Friedman. 2. DISCUSSION: The Mayor welcomed the Council and the public to the workshop. Councilmember Moss and Zoning Plans Reviewer/Planner Olga Garcia addressed the public and Council giving a slide show presentation on proposed Zoning Code amendments for single family homes regarding swimming pools and screen enclosures, garages, carports, fences and walls, gazebos and accessory structures, walkways, roofs, roof overhangs and rooftop uses, front yard encro achments (fountains and decorative in-ground reflecting pools) and backyard sheds. There was extensive discussion from Council with the Manager and the Attorney regarding the above items including base floor elevations, the storm water system, flood insurance and CRS rates. Chief Resilience and Sustainability Offi cer Dr. Roland Samimy addressed the Council regarding base floor elevations. The following persons addressed the Council: Daniel Lee and Marta Zubliaga. 3.
