Leesburg Christmas and Holiday Parade To Be Held On
Saturday, December 14, 2013, As Scheduled
Leesburg, VA (December 13, 2013) – Town of Leesburg officials announced this afternoon that
the annual Christmas and Holiday Parade will be held as scheduled on Saturday, December 14,
2013. The parade will step off from the front field at Ida Lee Park at 10am and proceed down
King Street, through the Historic Downtown, to Fairfax Street.
Street closures will go into effect at 9:30am in preparation for the parade.
Currently, the weather forecast for Saturday morning calls for light snow. However, as always,
there is some uncertainty and conditions could change. If plans for the parade change due to
the weather, updates will be posted to the Town’s website (www.leesburgva.gov) and
Facebook pages (www.facebook.com/LeesburgVirginia and www.facebook.com/IdaLeePark).
