RESOLUTION APPROVING A GIFT OF TANGIBLE PERSONAL PROPERTY
WHEREAS: From time to time, this community is the beneficiary of a gift donated
towards improving the quality and spirit of its inhabitants' lives; and
WHEREAS: The Boston Bruins Foundation has offered a generous donation of assorted
hockey equipment valued at $2,500.00; and,
WHEREAS: This generous donation was offered to the city in conjunction with the PFC
Richard Moxley Field Court Dedication Ceremony being held this Wednesday, October
25th, 4 PM to 5 PM; and,
WHEREAS: This generous gift of hockey equipment shall assist the Recreation
Department's mission to provide a variety of comprehensive active and passive
recreational, leisure and seasonal opportunities for a wide range of age groups and
abilities.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Watertown,
hereby accepts pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 44, Section 53AI/2, a
gift of hockey equipment from the Boston Bruins Foundation.
