1. CALL TO ORDER — Mayor Wallace Dee called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL: Council Members; Green, deRyk Jones, Vice Mayor Anderson, and
Mayor Wallace Dee. Council Member Brown arrived at 5:08 p.m.
Staff Present: John McLaughlin, Community Development Director; Dan Wilkins, Public
Works Director/Town Engineer; Tony Lashbrook, Town Manager; and Dennis Crabb,
Town Attorney.
3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE — deferred.
4. PUBLIC COMMENT — none.
5. CLOSED SESSION
5.1 CLOSED SESSION CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL" ,COUNSEL — ANTICIPATED
LITIGATION, one case Government Code Section 54956.9.
Action Taken: Authorize the Town Manager to execute a takeover agreement for Alder
Creek Drive Roundabout with IFIC Bonding Company, subject to resolution of final
language.
5.2 CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATORS — Property: APN 19- 300 -41
and 19- 300 -42 associated with Kenneth G. and Jeanette A. Arnold; Negotiator Tony
Lashbrook, Town Manager; price and terms under negotiation; Government Code
Section 54956.8.
Action Taken: Town Attorney Authorized to write a non - binding letter of intent
consistent with the direction. Authorize the Town Manager to present the letter to the
property owner.
5.3 CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL — ANTICIPATED LITIGATION, two cases
Government Code Section 54956.9.
Action Taken: Case One: Briefing Only.
Case Two: Staff to review upon receipt of information from Peoria Sunnyside.
