City of Tiffin City Council met in a special session at Tiffin City Hall Council Chambers on Thursday,
September 27, 2018. Mayor Steve Berner called the meting to order at 6:33 PM. Upon roll being called
the following members were present: Peggy Upton, Jim Bartels, Al Havens, Mike Ryan, Eric Schnedler.
Absent: None. Other present: City Administrator Doug Boldt, City Clerk Ashley Platz, City Attorney
Crystal Raiber, City Engineer Ben Carhoff, Building Official Brian Shay and others.
C. Agenda Additions/Agenda Approval
Motion to approve the agenda by Bartels.
Seconds by Schnedler.
All ayes, motion carried.

a. Motion to Approve Second Reading of Ordinance No. 2018-442 - An Ordinance Vacating
a Portion of Existing Park Road in Tiffin, Iowa by Ryan
Second by Upton.
Roll Call: Bartels, Havens, Upton Ryan, Schnedler. All ayes, second reading approved.
b. Motion to Suspend the Requirement to Pass Ordinance on Two Considerations before
Final Passage as stated in Iowa Code Section 380.3 by Ryan.
