PRESENT: Chairman Dan Garren, member Roy Hobbs, member Mike Taylor, member Bette Lovinus, member Robyn Keyes, City Clerk Julie Hammond. VISITORS: None. PUBLIC HEARING: THE PURPOSE OF THE HEARING WAS TO CONSIDER APPROVING THE FORMATTING CHANGES TO TITLE 11. Chairman Garren explained that the Planning and Zoning Commission had been working with the city attorney regarding changes to the formatting style of Title 11. The regulations within the title were not changed, only some of the formatting of the order in which the chapters were listed and the order of the contents within the chapters were rearranged. Because no one was present in the audience Chairman Garren closed the public portion of the meeting and opened deliberation to the commission members. Chairman Garren said that even though Attorney Storer did not incorporate many of the recommended changes into the title, he was satisfied with the changes Attorney Storer had made. PZ member Keyes agreed with Garren and said it was an exhausted subject and even though she did not understand or agree with Storer's recommendation it was wise to follow the advice of the city attorney. PZ members Taylor, Hobbs, and Lovinus said even though the commission had been working on the Title changes for over one year, they agreed to accept the attorney's recommendations and move on. Chairman Garren asked for a motion from the commission. PZ member Taylor made a motion to accept the changes to Title 11 as written by Attorney Storer. PZ member Hobbs seconded the motion. Roll call as follows: AYE: PZ member Taylor, PZ member Keyes, PZ member Lovinus, PZ member Hobbs, PZ chairman Garren. NAY: None. All were in favor, motion carried. The Planning and Zoning Commission recommends that the Council accept Title 11 formatting changes. 1 PZ member Taylor said he would like to speak with a representative from Intermountain Gas Company regarding the expansion they were doing. Keyes said she would call the gas company and invite someone to the next PZ meeting. Taylor said he would also like to revisit the wind tower issue and look at Bonneville County's wind tower ordinance. PZ member Hobbs said he would gather information for the nest Planning and Zoning meeting. Meeting adjourned 7:00 p.m. 2
