RESOLUTION APPROVING FIREWORKS
FOR ETHNIC DAY
WHEREAS, The Borough of Carteret (the "Borough") annually celebrates the diverse
ethnic heritages of its residents; and
WHEREAS, The Mayor and Council of the Borough believe that having a fireworks
display at the festival would be an enjoyable way to culminate the event and an
appropriate symbol of the community pride the festival has come to represent; and
WHEREAS, in order to obtain a permit to display the fireworks it is necessary for the
Borough to adopt a resolution approving said display.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor, Borough Business
Administrator and Borough Clerk be and are here by authorized to execute such
documents as are necessary to obtain any and all permits, and facilitate the "Ethnic Day"
fireworks display.
Adopted this 17th day of May, 2001
and certified as a true copy of the
original on May 18, 2001.
