A RE SOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF KEY BISCAYNE, FLORIDA, CONDEM NING THE
UNPROVOKED INVASION OF THE SOVERE IGN NATION OF
UKRA INE BY RUSSIA AND RE QUESTING PRE SIDENT BIDEN
AND ALL MEMBERS OF THE NORTH ATLANTIC TRE ATY
ORGANIZATION (NATO) TO PROVIDE ALL POSSIBLE
ASSISTANCE AND HUM ANITARIAN AID TO THE UKRA INIAN
PEOPLE AND TAKE SUCH STEPS AS ARE NECESSARY TO
DEPRIVE THE RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT OF SOURCES OF
FORE IGN MONIES; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

WHEREAS, the unprovoked invasion by Russia has violated every tenant of
international law and basic morality; and ·
WHEREAS, the illegal invasion and indiscriminate bombing of innocent victims,
and the destruction of ancient cites, villages, churches and monuments is an unspeakable
crime against humanity; and
WHEREAS, the courageous retaliation efforts of the proud Ukrainian people
deserve the help and cooperation of the United States, all NA TO signatories, and the world
at large.
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RE SOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
THE VILLAGE OF KE Y BISCAYNE, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Recitals. That each of the above-stated recitals are hereby adopted,
confirmed, and incorporated herein.
Section 2. Condemnation. That the Village Council condemns in the strongest
terms the illegal invasion of the sovereign nation of Ukraine.
Section 3. Support. That the Village Council supports President Biden and all
NA TO nations in providing all possible assistance and humanitarian relief to the people of

gov ern m ent fo r its ill egal and unw arra nted invasion .
S ection 4. E ffective D ate. T hat this R esolution shall be effective im m ediately
upon adoption .
