Member Missing; Dion Dugan Guests: Herb Montgomery, Keith Gauley, Charles Sumner, Lisa Souve, Ellen Bearse and Jillian Douglass 4:30: Call to Order 11. Me ting with Eddy School Playground Committee Specifications/discussion regarding concerning school playground project; • Mr. Gauley presented a budget; $ 221,000 • They will use School funds until reimbursement • Monies will go through CPC Liaison/CPC Financial Liaison/Town Treasurer • Reimbursements are in a timely manner • $6,000 in fundraising at this date, future fundraising activities planned • Fundraising money goes in a "gift account" through School Committee and BOS • This account is paid out FIRST, then CPC monies • NOTHING is available until July let • Can produce a contract with company to begin order process (company selected off the County Bid List). They cannot sign a contract until the full amount of money is available, • We are not funding the sitting area? Correct • School funding is different from town funding • Any savings will be on the CPC side • Keith Gauley intends to follow through with this project even though not in the Principal position • Quote includes installation • CPC liaison is Rollie Bassett • Certified Playground Inspector before signed off as complete; Ellen Bearse holds that certification (ADA certified as well) • Building Inspector will inspect facility • CPC will write an agreement as well as the Town contract • Playground Committee will come in with a progress report (date to be determined) MOTION by Tino Kamark to fund this grant as of July 1, 2013 for up to $200,000.00 for the Eddy School Playground Project, as approved at Spring Town Meeting Article 6 if all funds are available as required by the Town of Brewster. A CPC Commitment letter will follow. Second by Paul Ruchinskas. VOTE" 8-0-0 2. Discussion and possible action on following CPC policies and procedures HOLD 3.
