A RESOLUTION OF THE LYNWOOD REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY APPROVING THE
EXECUTION OF AN EXCLUSIVE NEGOTIATING AGREEMENT ("ENA") WITH WEST
COAST UNITED ("DEVELOPER") FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF EIGHT SINGLE-
FAMILY HOMES ON AGENCY OWNED PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE NORTH WEST
CORNER OF LYNWOOD ROAD AND FIR STREET
WHEREAS, the Agency is implementing a Redevelopment Plan (the
"Redevelopment Plan") in the City of Lynwood (the "City"), State of
California, adopted by the City by Ordinance No. 945 on July 10,
1973, as amended; and
WHEREAS, the proposed ENA will permit the Developer to obtain
the necessary financial commitments to complete the project; and
WHEREAS, the proposed project will provide eight moderate
Single-Family homes anticipated to be sold in a price range of
$150,000 to $160,000; and
WHEREAS, the site will be developed pursuant to the General
Plan and Municipal Code requirements; and
WHEREAS, the proposed project will put vacant underutilized
property into productive use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Lynwood Redevelopment
Agency that:
Section 1. The Lynwood Redevelopment Agency based on the
aforementioned findings and determinations hereby adopts this
resolution and authorizes the Chairman to execute an Exclusive
Negotiating Agreement with the Developer.
Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect immediately
upon its adoption.
