LRA RESOLUTION 95-30
A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD TO
APPROVE THE RENTAL OF A VACANT LOT LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER
OF LONG BEACH BOULEVARD AND BEECHWOOD AVENUE FOR THE SALE OF
PUMPKINS IN OCTOBER AND CHRISTMAS TREES DECEMBER WITH LENGTH OF
RENTAL FROM OCTOBER 18, 1995, THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 1995
'THE LYNWOOD REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Lynwood Redevelopment Agency did hear this
matter pertaining to the rental of the subject vacant lots.
Section 2. The Lynwood Redevelopment Agency hereby finds that
said request should be granted for the following reasons and
findings:
A. The request, as submitted, will not have significant
effect on the surrounding neighborhood.
B. Last year the Lynwood Redevelopment Agency approved a
proposal for the rental of the subject property for the
sale of Christmas trees.
Section 3. The Lynwood Redevelopment Agency approves the
requests of Larry Minter to use the subject properties for Pumpkin
and Christmas tree sales subject to the following conditions:
1. All required permits and licenses shall be obtained from
the other City departments.
2. The total two month rental fee collected shall be sixteen
hundred ($1,600.00) dollars payable in two installments,
first installment October 18, 1995 ($800.00) and second
installment ($800.00) by December 4, 1995.
3. Liability insurance shall be obtained in the amount
approved by Agency Special Counsel.
4. The lots shall be maintained in an orderly manner free of
debris.
5. The property shall be cleaned and free of all debris on
or before December 31, 1995. A fully refundable cash
deposit equal to the costs associated with the clean up
of the site shall be remitted to the Agency for the
Agency to keep in the event the property is not returned
free and clear of all debris.
